| Ok, so this semester is already crazy. I could not imagine squeezing softball practice in there, but I do miss it. The closer I get to graduating, the less I want to be a teacher, especially a Math teacher!!! I just wish I could find something that I was good at that I LOVED doing. I'm just not too sure about this teaching thing. Today I asked Demetri if it was alright for me to drop out of school and him just support me, but he said no, unless he makes it to the pros. Alright, I've decided that I will not update again until I have something positive to say, because all I do on here is complain. So there. | | |
| Well, I definitely chopped my hair off. I cut it at the beginning of the summer, and it was pretty short then, but it's definitely shorter this time, and I'm not so sure about it. My friends say they like it, and I'm pretty sure they'd tell me the truth, but still. Looking back at old pictures makes me miss my long hair!!!! Luckily it grows really fast. Well, today I went to the doctor and had my first female physical if you know what I mean. It was really weird, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I felt like I was giving birth the way I was laying on the table. Ok, too much information. It's just part of being a woman. Well, so long for now. | | |
| We had bad weather today and one of our big trees fell on our house!!! We'll probably have to get a new roof. I'm just glad my dog is ok. Poor thing was so scared when my mom got home. Tonight I went to Kobe's Steakhouse with my staff from the pool. Those kids are out of control. Well, I just have one more week there at the pool, and two more weeks until I get to see dearest Demetri. As much as I love the kid, long distance sucks. I have decided that this is the last summer I am doing this. If I have to move my happy butt up to St. Louis or wherever he is, then I just might do that because this is pretty much the worse thing ever. I feel like I have an imaginary boyfriend. Thank goodness I have such wonderful friends here or I'd be miserable. This really has been a fun summer, and I think being 21 has a lot to do with it-not because I'm out drinking all the time, but just being able to go to fun places has been fun. I think this is the first summer that my mom has stopped calling me when I'm out to tell me it's getting late. Well, speaking of late, it is late, and my head hurts so I'm going to bed. | | |
| Well, I definitely have the absolute coolest friends in the whole world. We just have so much fun together it's ridiculous. We ate at my alltime fav. place, Carrabas (for all you Carino's fans, you just don't know), then we went to this fun little place in Addison. My friend Cheryl ran into a friend there who had just won $250,000 in the lottery, so he definitely payed for all of us to get whatever we wanted. It was a blast. His tab was well over 200 dollars, but he wouldn't let any of us help. Needless to say, we had such a great night, that I couldn't get up and go to the IKEA grand opening the next morning. Oh well. I heard it was crazy packed anyways. I'll go next week. Well, I only have 8 more days at the pool, and I am so excited!!! Then I have to go do that teaching stuff in Longview, and then VRON'S wedding!!!! Then I'll have a week off to either go to Panama City, or St. Louis, depending on what Sarah can do. Well, time to go hit the gym and then off to work. | | |
| Well, they found Demetri's truck, or should I say, the remainder of the truck which consisted of the frame. The bumpers, tires, front panels, windows, seats, transmission, and motor and everything inside were gone. I don't understand how people can just do that to someone else's vehicle. It blows my mind. Anyways, I am currently searching for a dress to wear to Vron's wedding. I found one I liked up in St. Louis, so hopefully I can find it here in Dallas. The week before school starts is gonna be crazy. First we have Vron's wedding, and then Sarah and I are gonna try to go to Panama City, Fl. I really hope that works out. If not, I'll probably go see Demetri in St. Louis. Then my best friend wants to go to San Antonio to celebrate her 21st birthday. I don't know why we have to go there. And she wants to stay at the Mansion on the riverwalk which is gonna cost oodles of money. I don't know why we can't just go up to Addison. There's tons of fun places there, and we can just have a slumber party at my house. I guess that's just not cool enough anymore. I miss being a kid. Well, keep Demetri in your prayers because he's had a stressful few weeks. I'm OUT!
